Oday Al-Khozai: “I am proud to work as a coordinator of the Peace and Sport’s Live Together Program”

Oday Al-Khozai, is 27 years old and comes from the city of Jerash in Jordan. He graduated from the University of Jordan with a specialization in Sport and Physical Education. Beside his studies, he played in the Jordanian Table Tennis National Team for several years. In 2010 he won the Kingdom Championship and in 2011 the Arab Championship in Lebanon. Convinced by the power of sport he joined the Live Together Program as coordinator in 2019 to share his knowledge with the refugees.

On April6 the International Sport community will once again celebrate the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace (IDSDP). Established by the United Nations General Assembly and the International Olympic Committee, April6 recognizes the role that sport plays in society and its power to foster dialogue, understanding, social inclusion and peace.

The #WhiteCard campaign, started by Pakistan Olympic Association, shows that sport can help in accomplishing worldwide participation, solidarity and prosperity. Raise it. Go along with us.

My wife and I went to visit family Dec 2019 for a couple of month, Covid 19 hit the world and the boarder between Gaza and Egypt was closed. Tennis is my passion, I played, Coached, Administered and volunteered for the sport that I love. I decided to help build a tennis court at the local orphanage.
