International Day of Sport for Development and Peace on has created an online space dedicated to the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace. The space includes the following:
- The opportunity to share what you are doing to celebrate the day and highlight what 6 April means to you.- Who's doing what: find out how the sport and development sector is celebrating this day.- How to get involved: highlight your activities, share a key message and read practical advice on campaigning for 6 April.- Five key messages: the UNOSDP highlights five key messages, presented in photographic form, to be shared on the day.- A bit about the history: all you need to know about the day and how it came about.

The sport and development community has been granted an opportunity and it's important that we take full advantage, making sure our voices are heard. Using our 10 years' experience in facilitating networking and community building within the sport and development sector, we have created the space to call on anyone with an interest in using sport in development and peacebuilding to play a role on 6 April. By getting involved, you can raise the visibility of your own work while simultaneously promoting the value of sport and the sector as a whole.

Organisations and individuals in sport and development work towards a wide range of objectives but the sector has been successful in cultivating a strong sense of community. We are encouraging continued collaboration and relationship building, enabling the sector to strengthen its case by speaking with one voice. The space can be found on the link provided on the homepage or on the following:
