The staff of CSDA will observe this day with the facilitation of a Ready & Able event in collaboration with members of the Lady Hochoy home in Penal, Trinidad. This activity is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 2nd April 2014.
During this activity, Sport for Development Officer responsible for the Ready and Able Program, Mr. Marlon Ali will engage both the members of the Lady Hochoy home and CSDA staff in a series of adapted ACB (Modified football and skills activities in Agility, Balance and Coordination) games and modified sports. Approximately 50 participants are expected participate in this event.
The acknowledgement and celebration of CSDA’s beneficiaries are vital to fueling the passion to build a healthy, productive and harmonious Caribbean through the use of sport and physical activity. For that reason, CSDA plans to celebrate the International Day of SDP with the Lady Hochoy Home, Penal, Trinidad with a series of sporting activities.
Our theme for this day (taken from the 5 key message from the UN)- 'The power of sport to include everyone regardless of abilities.' We believe that no one should be left out!
