The Open All-Russian Junior Martial Arts Games

The Open All-Russian Junior Martial Arts Games are a national sport event targeted to the promotion of healthy lifestyle and to the involvement of young athletes into martial arts and combat sports. Since the very beginning of their history (2008), the Games have proved to be more than just a sport tournament but also the way of building strong connections on the basis of peace, friendship and cultural exchange. Throughout the whole life of the Games the amount of participants was growing steadily and now reached more than 40 000 young and talented athletes aged between 10 to 20. Every year children from 78 regions of Russia and 8 countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) come to the Black Sea shore to the city of Anapa in order to participate in the Games, to demonstrate their sports achievements and to become a part of the pure celebration of healthy, active and happy life. 

The Games give a unique opportunity to promising young athletes to develop their skills, to gain experience of participation in a mass tournament and even to become a member of national junior sports teams. Uniting 44 Martial Arts and Combat Sports Federations the Games are one of the most impressive multi-sport events for children with more than thirty kinds of martial arts and combat sports.
